I was approached by INSPIRE Event Solutions in Dallas to create motion graphics for 43North’s live event in Buffalo, New York.

The brief was to create a walk-in loop featuring a photo mosaic made from photographs of past events. Because the complexity and scale of the animation made it impractical to build in After Effects alone, I developed a custom mosaic system using Blender’s Geometry Nodes. This allowed me to control how hundreds of images assembled in 3D space, along with their movement, timing, and camera animation.

I then used After Effects to refine the visuals and prepare the content for the event’s large, multi-screen display, creating a flexible workflow that could accommodate changing production requirements.
